I submit

Perhaps it’s only a fabrication of my mind, but I have sensed a certain pressure to join the bloggers cult and put my thoughts out there for all to see. Several individuals whom I greatly admire are consistent bloggers and have encouraged me to start one, too, yet I’ve been hesitant because I know that it is only more thing that I will use to distract myself from accomplishing other work. Realizing that it is a good practice in writing and communicating (as well as stretching my mind to think outside of its normal confines…thus the blog title), I’ve given in.

Being well aware that this blog will quickly become one of the nation’s (and perhaps the world’s) most renown and inspirational additions to electronic media, shaping the pertinent thoughts of some of the public’s most influential leaders–as well as the faithful common folk–I am absolutely convinced that I must frequently provide updates covering a wide array of significant topics (e.g. world politics, religion, war, shag dancing, bicycle rides, What About Bob? quotes, etc.) to continually satisfy the needs of my followers.

That being said…

I solemnly swear to update this blog…annually. If I happen to make an addition before that, consider yourself blessed by the good Lord.
